The 10 Best Shopify Apps for Clothing Stores in 2026
A clothing store is not a generic Shopify shop with more SKUs. Shoppers hesitate on will it suit me and will it fit me. Then they need a review, a size they can return, and an email that does not pretend the parcel was a lifestyle.
This list is a stack by job, not a popularity contest. We make AI Frame. It is first because look and fit are the clothing-shaped hole. The other nine are tools we actually see stores run. Check the App Store the day you install; prices and stars move.

1. AI Frame: look and fit, independently
Try On on the first product image. Size Chart as a text link next to Size. Estimate my size above Add to cart on Starter+. None of those wait for the others. Most shoppers never upload a photo, so the chart cannot live inside the try-on.

Free: 10 try-ons, 10 published Size Charts. Starter $19.99 adds Size Recommender. Swimwear: chart yes, try-on no. 5.0 from 20 reviews (7 October 2026). Newer than the rest of this list. See best Size Chart apps if you only came for tables.
2. Klaviyo: email and SMS for the second order
Clothing lives on replenishment, drops, and “the size you actually wear.” Flows that mention Your size and a Size Chart beat a generic 10% win-back. Klaviyo is the default because the rest of the stack already talks to it. It will not tell anyone their size. That is still the product page.
3. Judge.me: reviews with a photo of a real body
Star ratings on a packshot are weaker than a review with a wearer and a size worn. Prompt for size and height, not for a discount. We do not filter reviewers by sentiment and we do not pay for reviews. Same prompt for everyone. Judge.me is the clothing-shaped choice because photo reviews are first-class and the free tier is enough to start.
4. Loop Returns: send the reason, not only the parcel
If you cannot tag too small / too big / not as pictured, you cannot tell look from fit. Loop is built for that loop (exchanges, shop-now). Pair it with the returns playbook. A generous window without a Size Chart is a subsidy.
5. Shopify Search & Discovery: find “wide-leg”, not “wg”
Fashion search fails on colour, rise, and fabric. Shopify’s own Search & Discovery app is the one that does not add another vendor to the theme. Synonyms: jumper/sweater, trainers/sneakers. Merchandising rules for “size 38 in stock” matter more than a third-party search theatre.
6. PageFly: landing pages that keep the Size Chart
Campaign pages that clone a product and drop app blocks are how Size Chart disappears on Black Friday. If you use PageFly, put the AI Frame embed (and the Size Chart link) back on the template. The holiday returns piece is mostly this failure mode with tinsel.
7. Gorgias: tickets that are size tickets
“What size is this in?” should not wait for a human to open a PDF. Macros that link the product’s Size Chart, plus Estimate my size, close the ticket. Gorgias wins on Shopify because the ticket sits next to the order. The answer still has to exist on the storefront.
8. Smile.io: points after they kept the garment
Loyalty that rewards the first order before the return window closes is how you pay for bracketing. Points after the keep, referrals with the same size honesty as the PDP. Smile.io is the clothing default; it is not a Size Chart.
9. Shopify Inbox: chat on the product
A shopper on Size will ask in the corner. Inbox keeps that on Shopify. Saved replies: Size Chart link, Estimate my size, do not ask them to email a selfie of someone else. For gifts, see the holiday piece.
10. Matrixify: the catalogue is the product
Exports, metafields, migrating from another Size Chart app, bulk tags for assignment rules. Clothing stores drown in CSV. Matrixify is the grown-up way to move data. AI Frame can also scan the live store and copy matching tables as drafts - use both when you leave Kiwi.
What did not make the ten
A second Size Chart app. A fake-review widget. A “size guide” page in the footer. A try-on that infers chest from a photo. Page builders that strip blocks. Discount popups that cover Size Chart.
Shopify’s visualization figure still applies on the product they buy: shoppers who can visualize convert up to 94% better (Shopify, 3D Ecommerce + changelog, 11 May 2022) - category, not our promise. Zalando’s 10% fewer size-related returns with size advice is the fit half, on Zalando’s catalogue.
Install in that order if you are empty: AI Frame, Search & Discovery, Judge.me, Klaviyo, then returns. The Free plan of AI Frame is enough to put Size Chart and Try On on one product this afternoon.
