Schuhgrößentabellen auf Shopify: Sneaker, Stiefel und Absätze
A clothing Size Chart is chest, waist, hip. A shoe Size Chart is foot length, usually in millimetres, shown to shoppers in cm, plus the last (the mould) and the width. If you paste a T-shirt table onto a trainer, you will sell the wrong pair with great confidence.
Height and weight can estimate a torso. They cannot estimate a foot. Do not run Estimate my size on footwear and expect an EU 39.

What the shopper must be able to do
- Open Size Chart next to Size, with no photo.
- See foot length in cm (and inches if they toggle).
- Read EU / UK / US as labels for that last, not as a universal law.
- See a width story if you sell regular and wide.
- Measure at home: heel to longest toe, standing, against a wall, in the sock they will wear.
That is a Size Chart job. Virtual Try-On can show a boot on a leg. It will not tell you the toe is 8 mm short. OpenAI says the same about ChatGPT Try On: the image does not guarantee fit.

One chart per last, not one chart per shop
Sneakers, boots, and heels do not share a last. A 26.0 cm foot that is EU 40 in your runner can be EU 41 in a pointed heel and EU 39 in a sock-like knit trainer.
Sneakers. Length plus whether the knit stretches. If the fabric stretches, say so on the chart (AI Frame garment charts take stretch 0–20% - use it when the upper is a sock, not when it is leather). Running shoes often want thumb-space; fashion sneakers often do not. Write that in the how-to-measure, not as a fifth hidden column.
Boots. Shaft circumference and calf, not only foot length. A knee boot that fits the foot and fails the calf is a return with a perfectly “correct” EU size. Add calf as a row when you sell it. Winter socks: measure with the sock.
Heels. Toe shape is the return reason people call “size.” A pointed last needs more length than a square one for the same foot. If you only sell one heel last, one chart. If you sell pointed and platform, two charts, assigned by product or tag.
Do not copy Kiwi-style five knobs per millimetre. Two honest fields beat a cockpit: how it is meant to fit (true to size, snug, roomy) and stretch when the upper actually stretches.
Units: cm first, EU as the merchant language
We work in centimetres. A shopper in the US still deserves inches on a toggle. AI Frame sets first unit from location (inches in the US, cm elsewhere). The length column is the source of truth. EU 38 is a label you chose for that last. It is not Mondopoint unless you say it is.
Mondopoint is length in millimetres. If you already grade that way, show 250 mm as 25.0 cm. Do not make Americans infer from a men’s US 8 that wandered in from another brand.
Kids: same physics, shorter feet, faster growth. A gift-buyer needs the chart more than a selfie. See holiday returns.
What to put in the table
|
Column |
Why |
|---|---|
|
Size (EU, or your option values) |
Must match the Shopify Size option exactly |
|
Foot length (cm) |
The measurement |
|
Foot length (mm) optional |
If you grade Mondopoint |
|
Width (if you stock it) |
Regular / wide, or A–G if you are that brand |
|
Calf / shaft (boots) |
Only if you have the number |
Mark the table as body (the foot) or garment (the insole). Mixing them in one grid is how 26.0 cm becomes an argument.

Assignment on Shopify
Tag sneakers, boots, heels or use collections. AI Frame assigns by products, categories, tags, vendor, collections (ANY or ALL). A vendor rule is how you keep Brand A’s last off Brand B’s PDP.
Import from CSV if the factory already sent length. Import from photo if the chart exists as a hangtag picture. Store scan copies HTML tables as drafts. Five steps, no code.
Try-on and shoes
AI Frame can try on clothing, shoes, bags, accessories, hats, glasses. A shoe render answers will it suit me - the line, the colour on this outfit. It does not replace length. Keep Size Chart independently reachable.
Swimwear is the category we will not render (Google image safety). Shoes we will. Still put the chart first.
Returns you can actually prevent
Returnalyze’s 2025 peak-season women’s shoes ran about 25–30% by volume depending on the week; men’s shoes about 23–28%. Category weather. The fix on your shop is still: length in cm, last-specific charts, width when you sell it, no height-and-weight shortcut.
Zalando’s 10% fewer size-related returns with size advice is about advice existing, not about a foot-from-BMI model.
When I packed shoes at Heritage Fashion, the pairs that came back as “too small” were often the right EU label on a different last. The chart had been generic on purpose. Generic is how you ship two sizes.
Install AI Frame and publish a foot-length Size Chart on one sneaker today. Clothing Estimate my size is a different article: height and weight.
